ABOUT SCOTT
2006 was the year that I changed as a person and started to find who I am and what I wanted to be.  Joining the fire brigade gave me a new confidence that the former fat and shy Scott could never have imagined.  It was being around like minded people that set me off on my first real adventure which was the cycle from John O'groats to Lands End.  Those eight and half days taught me a lot about myself and what I was capable of.  From there it hasn't been a 'I've never looked back' scenario, but slowly and surely i've tested my physical endurance, culminating in my 'Journey to Elbrus'.  This tough and gruelling undertaking taught me a wealth of things (through many mistakes as much as anything), but it firmly confirmed where I want to go with my life and the things I want to achieve.  It's not a cemented plan - I kinda like to 'wing it', but I do know that I want to challenge myself in new and creative ways that will hopefully capture peoples imagination and possibly inspire others to push themselves and achieve great things.

We only get one chance at this life and I want to make the most of it as I possibly can.  Grab life and soak up the moments we have.  It may be hard at times but the rewards outweigh those moments and the memories will last forever.

Yours in adventure.

Scott
